I am very fortunate that no one in my immediate family has suffered from this terrible disease, but I have close friends who have battled it, extended family still battling it, and childhood friends who have lost their battle. Even though I do not carry a high risk I still get a mammogram every year. As women we should all find ways to support breast cancer survivors during breast cancer awareness month in October AND all the other months of the year.

Fight Like A Girl!
This is not my usual topic as a home design and craft blogger, however, it is a cause I fully support both financially and in spirit. Last year I wrote a post about how to embrace the color pink in your home decor as a way to show support to the family and friends of those who battle this awful disease.
This year I decided to take a different approach and showcase some of the wonderful products that can be found on Amazon to show your support.
This year in honor of all women who are fighters against this disease, take the time to visit a friend or church member who is struggling with her treatments or just may need a little encouragement to keep her smile going. Every little gesture matters.
“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.”
