Welcome to the Christmas Tree Decor Blog Hop! This is the fifth year of this creative blog hop and I am so excited to be a part of this group of talented bloggers again this year. This year I decided to create a Faith Inspired Christmas Tree for the holidays.
If you are landing here on my site from, My Pinterventures then welcome and I hope you continue to visit all of the bloggers listed below.
For 5 years now, Michelle, from Our Crafty Mom, has hosted this fun and creative blog hop each year for the Christmas Tree Decor Blog Hop, and I have been excited to participate each year.
In the past I have done a Retro Tree, a Rustic Modern Tree, a Red Truck Tree, and an all Navy and White Nostalgic tree last year. All of them have been different from the previous year and I have enjoyed creating the theme every time.
This year I created a tree style that has been on my mind often this year, and that is a Faith Inspired Christmas Tree.
To be honest with you, the theme of this tree has meant a lot to me this year.
We all know that the last two years have been stressful for everyone. Me included. We lost a very close friend to Covid a few months ago and it really hit hard.
During the past year, I have met with a wonderful group of ladies for bible study, some who just started out as acquaintances. and all have turned in to very dear friends. We just finished up 52 weeks of a deep study of the New Testament.
We have asked the hard questions, cried, laughed a lot, ate a lot of good food, and shared our hardships and everyday lives.
It is from this bible study that this tree was created.
It is not the fanciest tree I have every decorated, but it has a special meaning to me this year.
And I think it will go up each year from now on somewhere in the house.
I hope you enjoy it too.
The tree is mostly gold and white and each ornament represents not only the Nativity but the names of Christ, and the songs of Christmas.
I purchased the ornaments from Hobby Lobby and a local Christmas boutique, but a few of them are hand made as well.
A friend of mine from the bible study group suggested the crown at the top and I found it at the At Home store in Knoxville.
pin it for inspiration!
Now go visit the other talented bloggers who also participated this year in the 5th Annual Christmas Tree Decor Blog Hop, especially Jenron Designs listed right after mine.
