Home Matters Linky Party #492
Welcome to the weekly Home Matters Linky Party #492
A great place to come, share your blog posts and make new friends.
Even though I have gotten pretty good at my methods to find new inspiration for home decor and especially seasonal holiday decor, I was still a bit surprised last week when I ventured to the stores to browse the new items on the market this year.
Pleasantly surprised at some of the new color variations, and immediately decided that others were not for me.
That is definitely one of fun factors of how Fall decorations have evolved past the basic orange pumpkins in the last few years. No matter what your home style is, you can always find something to showcase your own personal style for the season.
I may still be finishing up my summer projects for the next few weeks, but taking some time to browse the aisle of one of my favorite home decor stores has gotten me thinking about Fall craft projects a little.
So, welcome to August everyone and the beginning of all things Fall in the stores. And as always, I look forward to reading your posts this weekend.
Now on to this week’s party! I can’t wait to see you there.

Thanks so much Donna! Thank you for featuring my Design Tips this week, I am honored! Yes, even though it’s still hot it’s time to think fall and start transitioning our decor~ hopefully it will cool off soon!
Donna,
If you want to enjoy cruising the stores for the new seasonal decor from a comfy chair in your Living Room, do what I do…I watch “Shop with Me” you tube videos…My favorite is Crystal, The Queen..She covers Michael’s Hobby Lobby. TJ Maxx , Home Goods, Marshall’s Ross, Dollar Tree, Dollar General and MORE!! I watch all her videos and then make my list of what I want and then check out our local store for it…Saves a lot of time….
Thanks so much for hosting!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links!!
Hugs,

Thank you for sharing this. I will definitely take a look at her videos. It is always good to listen to others perspectives on home design because we get tunnel vision and we learn from watching others and listening.
I think I’m just about ready to start thinking about fall! The temps here in Minnesota have taken a bit of a plunge this week so I know it’s on the horizon! Hopefully we’ve still got a few more weeks of August weather to come! Thanks so much for hosting this Friday link up for us all, Donna! Such a fun place to visit each week! Today we are sharing #13 and #14! Have a great weekend!
Thanks Laura. I just got back from a visit to Eastern NC and it was so very sticky and humid as compared to the mountains where I live. I have to adjust to it every time I go back to my hometown. Thanks for sharing every week.
Thank you for hosting. Have a great weekend.
