Hello again. I hope this week’s post finds you doing well and gearing up for some great Halloween and Fall recipes, craft fun, and home decor ideas. As always, I have many plans and activities going on at the same time even though I keep telling myself to stop doing that.
One thing we have in our future is the Trunk or Treat event at our church on the 27th. For the last several years, the event has had a “theme” to follow which amps up the fun for both the kids and those of us decorating our trunks. One year it was Children’s movies and we saw trunks decorated with every imaginable Disney movie. Then the next year it was Sports – the ideas on that were fun too. Last year it was Children’s books and nursery rhymes.
This year? Well, this year is going to be very different.
Our Family Minister, who plans the event, LOVES all things Christmas, especially Hallmark movies! So this year our theme is Christmas in October!
Sounds a little crazy, but we have friends planning trunk themes around Home Alone movies, to several ladies who will be dressed as elves building a gingerbread house. It is going to be a lot of fun.
