Home Matters Linky Party #504
Welcome to the weekly Home Matters Linky Party #504
A great place to come, share your blog posts and make new friends.
We are so glad you are here with us each week.
As I am writing this, it is the last few hours of October and another Halloween night. I hope everyone has a safe and scare free time. Tomorrow starts the time of shopping lists for Thanksgiving and early Christmas decorating.
I have already been online this week shopping for a new tall and slim Christmas tree.
My current green tree has seen better times. It is still functional but the lights died years ago and along the way I decided to cut them off to replace them with clear white light strands. Every year when I find myself struggling to string on the replacement lights I vow to replace the old tree by taking advantage of post-holiday clearance sales on a new tree. And each year I find an excuse to avoid going shopping for that perfect new tree after the holidays.
So here I am once again faced with the dilemma to either endure another year struggling with the old tree or fork over the money for a new one. I will tell you that a new one is in my future!
If you have any reviews on the taller slimmer trees on the market I would love to hear them.
Don’t forget to Fall back this weekend with Daylight Savings Time.
Now on to this week’s party! I can’t wait to see you there.

Happy November! Have you checked Facebook Marketplace for a used Christmas tree? Often people are moving and don’t want to take one with them or they bought a new tree and want to sell their old one at a good price. Good luck!
Thanks for the suggestion. I will look in to it.
Thank you for featuring my skeleton frames!

Happy November!
Happy Halloween!!
I just ordered a 6 ft. slim tree for my Dining Room..I had a 7 ft, one but it is going to be too much for me to handle, hauling it up from my storage shed so I am donating it to Salvation army…The 6 ft. one is actually 5 1.2 ft. as the top branch is pretty tall and taken into consideration in the height. It will fit better in the corner of the Dining Room….
Thanks so much for hosting this wonderful party!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links!! I hope you are having a great week!!
