We are so glad you are here with us each week.

My husband and I are preparing for our next RV trip in a week that will probably be the last one of the year.  Our Fall schedule is already looking to be a busy one with our jobs and taking care of two little ones twice a week.

This is our second year of owning an RV, and we had expected to use it more this year than we have. I think most RVers say the same thing.  In our defense, it was more than just a lack of planning our trips out for the entire year at the beginning of the year.  With a new grandbaby arriving this year and the never-ending exterior work on our house (no, it is not finished yet), we just couldn’t work out more dates to hook up our portable home and go exploring.

In total honesty, I also haven’t fully set up the organization needed for the kitchen, nor have I even decorated it yet. Last week, we stumbled upon some adorable fabric we both loved for curtains, which inspired me to make it cozier for next year’s trips. I’ve started a winter project list early.     

I hope the last weeks of Summer are good to everyone as we gear up for the busiest months of the year!
