Home Matters Linky Party #569

Welcome to the weekly Home Matters Linky Party #569

A great place to come, share your blog posts, and make new friends.

We are so glad you are here with us each week.

Hello again!ย

Today, my mind is on resets.ย

I don’t know if it is because I have spent the first two months of the year mostly at home and my cluttered spaces are starting to close in on me, or if I just need to get out more.

Although I am not ready to start pulling out the boxes of Spring decorations just yet, I am ready to pack away the cozy blankets and start fresh.

So this morning, I made a list of five areas, big and small, in my home that need a reset.ย  Something as straightforward as finding a way to corral the grandkid’s toys in the living room, to a bedroom refresh in style and decor.ย

I think March will be my month to focus on a few resets.

Resets that can be done in an afternoon that will clear the cobwebs from my mind and start the creative flow for Spring.ย

How about you?ย  Are you planning any resets for March?

ย Thanks for visiting the blog party this week.ย ย

  1. A “reset” is such a good way to approach things, focusing on one area at a time rather than being overwhelmed by the big picture. I’m in the midst of my own and, sometimes, I get exhausted thinking of all the projects at once! Taking things in small increments is so wise! Good luck to us both! Thanks, as always, for another fun party, Donna. We’re sharing #11 and #13 with you and your cohosts today. Have a great weekend.

    1. Thanks Laura. I am struggling too with the exhaustion of too many projects at once, so I finally had to make a list of only 5 areas/spaces to reset during the month of March. Each one can be accomplished in a one or two focused timeslots. Good luck to us both. We will share more updates later.

  2. I guess small steps matters. I reset everyday. Write a to-do list for the day and then do it. For me it works! Thank you for the link-party! Have a fantastic weekend!

  3. Like you, Donna, I needed to refurbish some spaces in my home for spring. I included the library refurbish today. We also did some renovation by taking out a wall between two rooms and opening them up to allow more light to flow through the downstairs. After cleaning up all the dust and debris and moving all the furniture, we are now living in the space again and it’s so much better. Good luck on your own refurbish.
