Last week, I mentioned I was planning a few home resets for March.
So, this week I have shopped online for ottomans and even a daybed for our dog.
I’m sure that sounds funny, but when you have a 120-pound German Shepherd who refuses to go into his kennel at night and is determined to sleep on your bed, you try to find a solution for him to stay in the room but have his own bed.
A search for large dog beds yielded only very expensive options, and even the extra-large sizes were too small for Recon.
So, we started talking about daybeds. They are large enough for a big dog, cost less, and can be used as a sofa or spare bed at any time. Win Win! Crazy what you will do for a beloved pet. Have you ever bought something like a daybed for a pet? I would love to hear about it.

HI Donna. Thanks for featuring our Terra Cotta Easter Bunnies this week! I love to see all the colorful Spring and Easter posts this time of year. Wow, your boy is one big pup! It would call for some thinking outside the box and a daybed sounds like an excellent option. Hope he will sleep in it! We have a 60-pound poodle who thinks he should sleep with us but he will go to his bed at the end of ours when it’s time for lights out. Good luck!
