Home Matters Linky Party #585

Welcome to the weekly Home Matters Linky Party #585

A great place to come, share your blog posts, and make new friends.

We are so glad you are here with us each week.

Hello again.

For those of us in the US, are you ready for the 250th Semiquincentennial celebration?  (That can be a hard word to say and spell!)

I have always loved the patriotic mix of red, white, and blue.  I am telling my age here, but I remember the 200th Bicentennial celebration in 1976!  I would have been seven that year, and I clearly remember my mama decorating a cake with a large eagle on it for a contest at the local mall.  She didn’t win the event, but those memories are a special part of my childhood.

Recently I was trying to explain to my granddaughter that she would probably get to witness the 275th – the Semitricentennial – and the 300th – the Tricentennial.  Her response was “but I am three!”  She will understand it later.

Thanks for visiting the blog and sharing your creative endeavors and delicious food posts with us. I look forward to browsing through them every week.

Home Matters Linky Party Guidelines:

  1. Please take some time to poke around and visit some of the other links.
  2. Please take some time to check out your hosts and co-hosts on social media.
  3. We appreciate the variety of blogs on the www; however, the Home Matters Party is for links on matters of the HOME. Please link accordingly.
  4. We ask that you do not add other Linky Parties, Blog Hops, or Giveaways–unless you begin the party with a new project, recipe or post.
  5. On the same note, please do not add links of an extremist, political or strong controversial nature. (The hosts and co-hosts read each and every blog post linked and will contact you directly if you have linked something that does not fit into the realm of the party.)

With your help, we can continue to grow the Home Matters Party! Thank you!

We are looking for Co-Hosts. Help us build this party!

  1. Thank you for featuring my Patriotic Berry Vanilla Biscotti! I brought by some S’Mores Biscotti today, along with some other Patriotic treats for y’all. You’re not so old ~ just 2 years older than my oldest daughter (and same age as her hubby). But then, I’m what my grandmother used to say about herself in age: “I’m God’s older sister” (haha). Love your linky party so thank you (and “all y’all”) for the work you do!

  2. Happy Friday! It’s so hard to believe that June over half over. Didn’t it just start? I hope that you have a wonderful week and thanks for hosting the link up!
