I have a designer confession to make.
I haven’t decorated my home for Fall yet! Even worse, I still have Patriotic decor up on the mantel.
I have a total of one cute little pumpkin on display because I bought it recently. Everything else is still in the boxes in the basement waiting for me to pull them out.
Fall is one of my favorite seasons to decorate for. But this year I have been so mentally consumed with making Christmas items that I just haven’t felt motivated yet to bring on the explosion of orange.
Maybe I can blame it on the weather. It has been so hot here in Eastern TN this September. But this Saturday, the forecast is calling for 40-degree weather in the early morning. I am already planning on sitting on the back porch with my morning cup of coffee – probably pumpkin spice flavored. Maybe that is the inspiration I will need to pull out my favorite pumpkins and transform my decor.

Our cohost, Joy, has stepped away from the weekly link party until further notice while she mourns the death of her father. Please keep Joy and her family in your prayers during this time. We’ll miss her, but family always comes first.

For now, I have decided to keep this party going beyond the 600th party next week and through the end of the year. We have finally been getting nice cool weather here in NEPA!! It has been in the 40’s for the last few days in the morning and it is glorious!!!
