Welcome to another week of Home Matters Linky Party and our new themed roundup blog hop. Every new year we become motivated and energized to organize our homes, our closets, our offices, and our lives in general. The problem is that often times the motivation and energy just doesn’t last. At least not without a solid plan and some great tips on how to get it done and stay on track. This week’s Home Matters Linky Party #167 theme and round up is all about home organization and after holiday routines. #HomeOrganization #HomeMattersParty
Home Organization – After Holiday Routines + Home Matters Linky Party #167

Home Matters Linky Party Guidelines:
We are thrilled that you came by to link up today! Here are a few rules that hosts and co-hosts of the Home Matters Party follow, and we ask that you follow them, as well.
- Please link up no more than THREE posts each week–try to make sure that they are new links that you have not shared here previously. (Exception: Holiday/Seasonal specific posts may be shared once per year.)
- Please take some time to poke around and visit some of the other links.
- Please take some time to check out your hosts and co-hosts on social media.
- We appreciate the variety of blogs on the www; however, the Home Matters Party is for links on matters of the HOME. Please link accordingly.
- We ask that you do not add other Linky Parties, Blog Hops, or Giveaways–unless you begin the party with a new project, recipe or post.
- On the same note, please do not add links of an extremist, political or strong controversial nature. (The hosts and co-hosts read each and every blog post linked, and will contact you directly if you have linked something that does not fit into the realm of the party.)
With your help, we can continue to grow the Home Matters Party! Thank you!

Ooohhh…. I’m working on my craft room too! It’s been so long since I’ve been able to use it because it’s such a mess! Thanks for sharing at #HomeMattersParty
Taming the Paper Tiger is such an on going process!! And, when you don’t take care of it for a while, it gets out of hand, QUICKLY! Thanks for sharing great links! #HomeMattersParty
Good luck tackling the craft room! I’m trying to get mine in order this year, too. #HomeMattersParty
Good luck to you as well. We will compare pictures at the end of the month.
Paper clutter is a HUGE issue for a lot of people. Every January I go through all our paperwork and scan it and file it digitally. Then I shred shred shred! Almost cathartic! Enjoying partying with you at the #HomeMattersParty 🙂
Thanks Kristen. I still need to unbox my new shredder but am looking forward to getting rid of a couple of years worth of paper clutter.
We can never follow “OHIO” in our house. We have tried it many times. I think we should start a filing system to control our paper clutter. Good luck with your craft room challenge.#HomeMattersParty
I can’t seem to stick to that either. But I keep trying. Thanks for visiting.
My favorite part was the “Ohio” but I think it’s the best way to handle paper. Good luck with your craft room. Thanks for sharing at the #HomeMattersParty
Ugh… paper clutter accumulates so fast. These are great tips to help keep paper under control. Just having a dedicated craft room would help my craft room clutter — LOL. Thanks for sharing at the #HomeMattersParty 🙂
