This week on Home Matters Linky Party we are celebrating Dadgum, That’s Good! Day. This is a great way to celebrate whatever makes you say, Dadgum, That’s Good whether it is food, gardening, crafts, or decor. I am personally celebrating my love for homemade cookies today. Find your own way to celebrate this day with some great ideas from our co-hosts. Plus link up at Home Matters with recipes, DIY, crafts, decor. #HomeMattersParty #DadgumThatsGood
Since the first of the year I have been reading through the Hannah Swensen Mystery books by Joann Fluke. These are the same books which are the inspiration for the Hallmark Channel’s Murder She Baked series. The books are not only great reads, but also include the most delicious sounding cookie recipes you can imagine. I have been craving cookies more and more with each book. For this reason I am celebrating homemade cookies for Dadgum, That’s Good! Day.

Home Matters Linky Party Guidelines:
We are thrilled that you came by to link up today! Here are a few rules that hosts and co-hosts of the Home Matters Party follow, and we ask that you follow them, as well.
- Please link up no more than THREE posts each week–try to make sure that they are new links that you have not shared here previously. (Exception: Holiday/Seasonal specific posts may be shared once per year.)
- Please take some time to poke around and visit some of the other links.
- Please take some time to check out your hosts and co-hosts on social media.
- We appreciate the variety of blogs on the www; however, the Home Matters Party is for links on matters of the HOME. Please link accordingly.
- We ask that you do not add other Linky Parties, Blog Hops, or Giveaways–unless you begin the party with a new project, recipe or post.
- On the same note, please do not add links of an extremist, political or strong controversial nature. (The hosts and co-hosts read each and every blog post linked and will contact you directly if you have linked something that does not fit into the realm of the party.)
With your help, we can continue to grow the Home Matters Party! Thank you!

There is nothing like good homemade cookies! I’m from the Buckeye state! I always crack up when people call them peanut butter balls instead of Buckeyes. #HomeMattersParty
That’s funny. I grew up calling them Peanut Butter Balls in NC. I guess we didn’t support the buckeyes around there. Thanks for visiting.
My husband will love double chocolate crunch cookies. I have to try some day. Yummy roundup, Donna. #HomeMattersParty
Homemade cookies are the best! I haven’t ever seen Buckeye Thumbprint cookies before, I love Buckeyes so I will have to try them as a cookie recipe. #HomeMattersParty
I love Buckeyes too so I plan to try them very soon.
I’ll bet I could modify these yummy cookie recipes to be gluten-free! Thank you!!! What a great share for this week’s #homemattersparty 🙂
If you do let me know the recipes. Thanks for stopping by.
I love cookies, I’m sure you can tell since it’s in my blog name. These recipes all look amazing. #HomeMattersParty
