Whenever I ask the bloggers who visit the Home Matters Linky Party each week to share posts that can be included in a themed roundup post, they never disappoint! This time I asked for posts showcasing their inspiring Fall mantel decorations and they shared simply beautiful neutral themed Fall mantels, cozy colorful mantels, mantels with DIY projects, and collections of Fall themed mantels they have displayed in their homes over the years. Read more about them below, you won’t be disappointed.

A search on Pinterest for Fall mantel ideas will deliver an amazing mix of simple, elegant, and yes, over the top ideas. One strong theme I have seen in the last couple of years is a move to a more neutral and textural approach to Fall decorations. I love the look and think it can fit in almost any style home and not just Farmhouse style.
Niki @ The House on Silverado shared her stunning neutral Fall mantel decorations that has such beautiful and natural texture that looks wonderful against her stone fireplace.
All white mantels have also become very popular in the last couple of years. White pumpkins are such a favorite new look and Penny’s all white pumpkin mantel display at Penny’s Treasures is both beautiful and comforting in her unique way of combining elegance and simplicity.
For those of us who really need to have some sort of DIY project in every seasonal display we pull together, then you will enjoy Nicole’s DIY Fall garland tutorial she included in her mantel decorations this year. Nicole blogs over at Our Tiny Nest.
Carol from Blue Sky at Home shared a entire post about Cozy Fall Decor Ideas for the Living Room but her mantel is definitely the centerpiece of the post. Such warm fall colors and a unique way to display faux fall leaves on her mantel. I always enjoy seeing Carol’s home photos.
With the same thought in mind of sharing more than just her mantel display, Jenna at The Painted Apron shared a post featuring her own home décor Fall vignettes which also included her beautiful Fall mantel that has these amazing textured pumpkins blended with a magnolia wreath.
MaryJo of Masterpieces of My Life took the assignment even further and shared a post that showcases several years worth of Fall mantel decorations she has created in her home. I have no doubt that you will find all kinds of inspiration from every beautiful little detail she shared in her post Inspired Fall Mantel Stylings.
As for me, I also have several years worth of Fall themed mantels I have shared on my blog. A few cringe worthy ones I won’t even pull out of the old files to share. I do have a few favorites though like the rustic one where I used an old window, or when I filled the mantel with different colored pumpkins.
This year I went more whimsical with my Fall mantel, just like I did with my Not So Scary Halloween Wreath. I am calling this Fall mantel, Cat’s Tales, just because I included some of my atomic wood block cats and some dried cattail plants I had in my Fall decorations. I had fun with this one and am already thinking of buying little Santa hats for these wood block cats for my Christmas mantel.
Whatever style you like for your Fall mantel, whether it is neutral and warm, all white and stunning, or just full of color and cozy, you should be able to find some nuggets of inspiration from each one of the bloggers featured in this post.
Hugs,

Thanks! I look forward to linking up again this week.
I just love all stone fireplaces!
Thanks Alexandra. Me too but ours is so large that it does require some effort to get a good look for it.
Hi, I am delighted to find my mantel included in the features this week…..thank you!
