I’m moving my office in to a closet!
As I have mentioned before in another post, I’m more than ready to move my makeshift office out of the breakfast/kitchen area to a place where I can leave everything in it’s place when I’m not working and close it off from view at the same time. I will soon be converting a utility closet in to my office closet.

I want a office closet that can be closed off and the messy desk unseen by guests. But I also want it close by and readily available whenever I get a few minutes of inspiration to work.
I have this utility closet close to the kitchen and back entrance that is perfect for an office closet conversion.
This is the closet I’m taking over. A small, but functional utility closet near the back entrance to our home. In a former life it must have been used for something else because this closet not only has it’s own lighting but also has electricity. It’s a win win situation and the perfect closet to convert to my home office space.
I decided to take over this closet when my puppy, Shiloh, kept stealing important items off my desk in the kitchen table nook and chewing them up. After paying over $100 for tickets that the band boosters could not sell for an event, I needed to find a place to work and a place to hide my stuff.
