Every Spring I look forward to making a new wreath for my front door or just decorating my porch for the season. Since I have started blogging you can imagine that I have shared lots of ideas. However, this year I decided to reuse my favorite wreath from last year. So instead of creating a new post for my door décor, I decided to reshare previous posts for Spring front door and porch décor ideas.

Warmer temperatures invites us to welcome our guests with Spring door and porch décor that is colorful and new.
In case you are wondering which one is my favorite that I am reusing, it is this one below. The Dog Paw Wreath I made for last Spring. It still looks good and I couldn’t resist hanging it back up again this week. Our forecast may be calling for more snow this weekend but on my front porch I have beautiful Spring dogwood blooms to enjoy.
The second favorite Spring wreath I have made for my porch and door was this Tulip Wreath.
In fact, I loved how that wreath looked so much that the next year I made about six of them for my home, for friends, and even a couple for the church’s women’s group for an event. It was a year of making Tulip Wreaths for me.
Last year I also made my first Succulent Wreath from items I easily found at the Dollar Tree. Dollar Tree has never failed me in providing some great wreath making items. And the low cost is perfect for budget DIYs.
Not all of the Spring wreaths I make are ones that I am thrilled about how they look in the end. This next wreath I shared for a Pink & White Spring Wreath took several attempts to get it looking “good” to me and even though I hung it up, I didn’t keep it up for very long.
That is just part of the process of creating DIY items for your home.
After Spring I took the entire wreath apart and reused the grapevine form for another wreath.
Which brings up a good question, what if you don’t want to hang a wreath this Spring on your front door or at your porch?
I have had those years as well that I just didn’t want to make a new wreath for Spring.
Nothing inspired me or I didn’t have the time or extra money to go out and buy new wreath making things.
So instead I found other items to hang up that were just as decorative for Spring but were different and fun as well.
Like the year that I created decorations for a straw hat wreath that included items leftover from a Hawaiian themed birthday party.
It was a fun party and gave me a unique way to reuse items for this straw hat wreath to enjoy for the Spring season.
Another year, I repurposed a couple of birdhouses at my back porch entrance to create whimsical birdhouse décor for Spring.
Even though I am reusing the dog paw wreath again this year, Spring is still one of my favorite seasons to make my own DIY decorations and wreaths for my door and porch. Maybe it is the fresh air and the promise of a new season, or just the fact that the colors are so vibrant for the floral stems and supplies in the stores after a long winter.
Comment and tell me about your Spring porch and door decorations this year.
Hugs,

The wreath with the dogwood blossoms would be perfect for my house. My colors are persimmon (watered down in the spring) and cobalt. Orange + Blue= fresh and new.
