Beautiful Fall Bible Verses To Embrace The Season

As I have been working on a craft project for a large Fall themed piece of artwork to place on my mantel, I have struggled with the right Fall phrase to add to the area above the pumpkin design.

But I didn’t want to include the expected “Farmhouse Pumpkins” phrase or “I Love Pumpkins”.

I wanted it to be more unique and meaningful.

At home in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, Fall brings gorgeous foliage in amber, crimson, and golden yellow.  By October the canvas of green is replaced with a masterpiece of vibrant colors that only God can paint.

Thinking of the rapidly approaching autumn season, I realized that what my artwork needed was a good Bible verse to embrace the season and remind me of God’s faithfulness.

If Fall is your favorite season, these verses are also for you.

Ask those around you and most of us will proclaim that the Fall season is their favorite time of the year.  It is a time of change when the heat of summer moves away to be replaced by a changing season with crisp air, amazing colors, and new beginnings as kids head back to school.

There is just something about the changing of the seasons that encourages us to slow down and reflect on the past year while looking to the future.

When the passages of the Bible were written, they didn’t have football games, campfires, smores, and holiday decorations on their mind.  What they focused on was the importance of the harvest season. The changing season and harvest time were the fulfillment of hard work, patience, and endurance.

To find Fall Bible verses to consider for my project, I started with searches on Google and Pinterest.  Because the Fall season was such an important time of year, a time for harvesting and giving thanksgiving for another year, there are so many scriptures themed around the essence of autumn that both comfort and inspire.

In this post, I decided to share a few of them with you.
