Below is a picture of my very first stuffed Snoopy toy. I was around 5 or 6 when I saved up my allowance to buy this little stuffed Snoopy at the Hallmark store in the mall. He was my constant companion for many years. When other girls my age were playing dress up with their dolls, I was making t-shirts for my stuffed Snoopy. I have loved Snoopy and the Peanuts gang all of my life.
Snoopy’s birthday is August 10th, 1950.
I could walk through my house and take pictures of all of the many collectibles, watches, coffee mugs, pens, playing cards, toothbrush holder, lunch boxes, more stuffed toys, and even jewelry I own that has Snoopy on it. I didn’t buy even half of it. Since I was very young my family and friends have given me Snoopy items for my birthday and Christmas. I won’t do that to you though.
And I also won’t list the amount of Christmas related items I have. It will fill up the entire post.
Growing up I was allowed as the youngest of four girls to name our new puppy, Snoopy. He looked nothing like Snoopy of course because he was a long and lanky bird dog with brown fur. However, five years ago I adopted a shelter dog mostly because she had spots like Snoopy.

Pippin as a small puppy.
Some people are Disney fans, I am that Snoopy fan!
Probably always will be. Some childhood obsessions just never do go away.
That is why I am including this post this week on the blog to share some of the fabulous new items available to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the beloved Peanuts™ comic strip and characters.
If you have a Peanuts and Snoopy fan in your life, consider some of these options this year as a gift:
Christmas ornaments are always a favorite of mine.
I personally won’t buy all of these items because I have no idea what I would actually do with all of them. I’m more practical than that. But it is fun to see all of the things they are remaking from the past 70 years of the comic strip.
Honestly, I have to admit though that I am very much considering finally having a Peanuts™ themed Christmas tree this year. Stayed tuned to see if I pull it off this year. The 70th Anniversary is a very good reason make it happen this holiday season.
Hugs,
