I need TWO coffee tables now!
I have never revealed our living room refresh because I am missing that one piece of furniture and I haven’t found the perfect one yet. We are also thisclose to finishing up the renovations to our front family room and I need a second coffee table for that room too.
Instead of spending precious time shopping all over town for two perfect, and two different styled coffee tables, I have turned once again to the internet for inspiration and a solution. My budget is limited for each one so the challenge is to find some great options for less than $100 each.
I also have certain styles and needs for each room that are opposite from each other.
Coffee Table #1 – The Living Room Coffee Table
This coffee table needs to be more transitional in style with clean lines and a light finish if possible. All of the other furniture in this room is either brown or black so I need something to lighten up the space. Two of my sofas have recliners in them so this coffee table will also need to be narrow and a bit smaller to work in the space.
Coffee Table #2 – The Front Family Room Coffee Table
This room will have more of a rustic modern mix and needs to be more mid-century modern in style. This room will also be used for multiple purposes so I need something lightweight and easy to move as needed.
One of my favorite online stores is Wayfair of course. Here is what I found with them:

Rockwell Coffee Table by Langley Street $61.99

Coffee Table by Closet Maid $58.69

Bergland Coffee Table $81.95

Ermont Coffee Table $55.14
Next stop on my internet shopping trip was Amazon of course.

International Concepts Tall Shaker Coffee Table Unfinished $84.00

Weathered Grey Oak Finish Metal X-Design Wooden Cocktail Coffee Table Shelf $51.59

Household Essentials Grey Top Black Frame Ashwood Round Coffee Table $49.99

Espresso Furniture Collection – Coffee Table $61.62
And the third place I looked was AllModern.

Nash Coffee Table $88.95

Phoebe Coffee Table $72.95
I know it may be hard to visual these tables in the rooms since I haven’t shared images of the spaces – yet – but I promise to share both rooms very soon and these selections will all make sense then.
I haven’t given up completely with shopping at thrift stores and garage sales in the next few weeks to find something I can update or alter so you will just have to come back for the reveals to see what I finally ended up with in the two rooms.
“And God is able to make every grace overflow to you, so that in every way, always having everything you need, you may excel in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8
I have commitment issues with coffee tables. We need one but I haven’t found the perfect one just yet. Good luck finding yours. #HomeMattersParty
I know Nicole, the struggle is real!
I didn’t go with a coffee table in this house, I use 2 ottomans instead. Then I’m not yelling at my kids and husband for putting their feet on the coffee table!!! #HomeMattersParty
Me too. But I really want to finish these project so I have to get focused and choose one – or two – very soon.
Love these choices! I’d like to get a new one for our living room someday – I have such a hard time choosing! #HomeMattersParty
The gray coffee tables would look great in our living room. We’ve decided to make our coffee table out of palettes. #HomeMattersParty
How creative. I hope you show them on your blog soon. My husband and I both have too many other things to finish to take on building our own coffee tables. Good luck with your project though.
