If you have read my blog before you know that I am an avid reader – most of the time. I have to admit that this summer I have listened more to books on Audible than actually having time to sit down and enjoy a good book in paper. I figured if I am going to spend so much time in the car I might as well enjoy it and make it productive at the same time. This post is all about the books I have enjoyed this summer and the ones still on my reading list.

Summer Reading List
I was actually part of the book launch team for the Do It Scared book by Ruth Soukup so I got to read it early digitally before receiving my hard copy. I loaned the hard copy to my son once I received it but plan to re-read this book again this summer so that I can make notes in the hard copy. Such a great read for anyone trying to start a business or do something out of their comfort zone.
I ordered Joanne Fluke’s Chocolate Cream Pie Murder book back in March but didn’t sit down to read it until late Spring. It is the 24th book in the Hannah Swenson murder series so I suggest you start at book one if you want to enjoy the entire series. The next book in the series is to be released as novelette in October 2019 and a full book is scheduled to be released in February 2020.
Illegal King is my son’s second book was released on July 1st and is on my reading list for the summer. This is the second book in The Dystopian King series.

These two books are the last two in the Wishcraft series by Heather Blake. I read them back to back in just a few days because they are just that good. I will miss that this series will not continue with more issues.
Brave Love by Lisa Leonard was one of the books I listened to on Audible. It is read by Lisa herself and is a honest and emotional story of finding the power to love yourself.
This was the second book that I listened to on Audible in the last few weeks. This is a must read for anyone who is a fan of Lysa TerKeurst’s books.
I not only listened to The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod on Audible but also got the kindle version as well. Yes, the book is that good for changing how your approach your morning routine and going after your goals. I will probably be listening to this book again before the summer is over.
And what I am listening to right now…
I am only a few chapters in with listening to The Miracle Equation, but so far it has some pretty great insights on how to reach your goals every time.
Enjoy some summer reading,
